Welcome to the Unconference

An event for anyone interested in social media and digital engagement, and its relevance to local authorities.

LocalGovCamp London - part of a series of UK-wide LocalGovCamps

4 March 2010, 9am - 5pm, Kings Place, London

Waitlist here

The event is being run as a 'barcamp' or unconference.  That means its an open, participatory workshop-style event. There are no fees, and advance organisation around venue, catering and promotion is done by volunteers.

More about the Unconference format from our partner IDeA

The format is geared to encouraging conversation as well as presentations. Agendas are set by the participants. We will bring in conversation facilitators, specialists, and local community heroes to listen and speak to, and develop ideas with. There will be an afternoon session specifically for councillors on social media engagement.

If you want to join in - it may sound weird but it works - have a look around our site to find out more - and if you've got a topic idea, we have a space where you can test interest in advance.
